I don't think so. |
Calling BS on this unless we all see significant advances in 4s and 5s this year over past years. |
I got someone doing this too! |
Yes, but received score (4). |
My ADHD kid got a B in AP class since has issues turning in homework. I would venture to say his high AP score is more reflective of his understanding than his grade. |
My daughter's test was moved to 5/23 due to the primary and she received her score this morning. |
Yeah I doubt this one is true. I read on this forum already about the Spanish test that was being held back due to suspected cheating and the lang test with IEP that got 50% of the paperwork lost. Nothing about APUSH |
Yes, that makes sense. |
I don’t think the test grading has changed meaningfully in the past twenty years or so. My junior took a practice AP test under timed conditions in school that was a decommissioned AP test from the year my spouse took it. He got the same score on the practice test that he got on the real test a week later. |
Thanks! |
We were told my DS's AP score is still in progress. It was taken on time. He's nervous it will be canceled and we don't know why. He doesn't know anyone in the class to ask if they got their score. |
I was on the APStudents subreddit a lot in the days leading up to APs and there were a ton of posts about this, including posters who paid for copies of tests. I also received DMs offering to sell me copies. So, I don't doubt it. |
100% agree. Arguing that the grades we are all seeing in this ridiculous gradeinflationpalooza are more indicative of subject matter expertise than the AP tests of those classes is ridiculous, tbh. |
If kid doesn’t put the AP on their app, can they submit to school later they were admitted to? |
It’s about the cohort taking the test. Only top students take Physics C or Chinese, for example, so a large percentage score high. The top students don’t take Physics 1 or Pre-Calc, so those pass scores are low. |
