I lived in Burleith in the late '80's. Has it really changed that much since this article?

I haven't live in the District for a while, but I thought the different neighborhoods still had a nice community feel and spirit to them.

Nope same ol scene, same old people. Still complaining about Georgetown and other preppy young residents.

I lived in Glover Park in the late 80s. I don't think it's changed that much -- except for the laughably low rents and housing prices in the article.

I've lived in Glover Park, just north of Burleith, since 1998. Doesn't feel like much has changed since then except for higher real estate prices, lots more families who send their kids to the local schools, and more people speeding through the neighborhood. Still has a nice community feel, for sure! Oh, and yes, still feuding with G-town
