That sounds like she is parroting Trump said after Cohen and Trump dissolved their relationship. Cohen was with the trump org. a long time so Trump found him valuable. |
If Trump is so smart with the best brain why would he hire someone like Cohen then? Why would I want a president who made such poor choices in hiring his closest advisors? |
The most interesting thing about Hope Hicks' testimony on the stand is how the biased media portrays it.
The conservative Fox News says that Hope Hicks imploded the prosecution's case by saying that Trump had no political intent to hide his affair, but was only hiding it to save his wife. The liberal CNN News says that Hicks' testimony was a nightmare for Trump as it only proved all the points that the prosecution wanted to prove, namely that Trump knew about the payments Cohen made to Daniels and that he knew about the attempts to falsify business records to hide it. The case of the confirmation bias from both sides as they believe what they saw confirms their own preconceived opinions. It will be interesting to see what the jury thinks, as right now, they are the only real opinion that matters. |
Fox knows what they are saying is bullshit. |
Which is why I read the New York Times, who pointed out how Hicks' testimony could be mined by BOTH sides to uphold some of their arguments. |
Hope and her crocodile tears. |
I'm sure they're real. In the moment, if you're not adequately prepared (and perhaps medicated for anxiety), tears can come quickly. I had this happen at a funeral while reading my portion. I didn't mean to cry, and had not been that close to the deceased, but suddenly out they came. That being said, I don't think Hicks was up to her task at the White House. This is how you get assistants who panic and send "Deny deny deny" emails without even pausing to reflect. It's a lesson in hiring people who can keep a cool head in a crisis. Meadow's ex-assistant, Cassidy Hutchinson, is a lot more capable, despite being younger. |
