Earning points against teams 8,9, & 10 (bottom third of the conference) is a good start. FVU11s are going to have to be a complete rebuild, including the HC, to be a serious contender in this league and that takes time. How much time does your DD have with recruiting years starting soon?

Your parents are doing the right thing by celebrating the little stuff. Gotta stay positive but please don’t hate on teams 1-6.

Good luck the rest of the season and in your showcases. March is coming.

Thank you for your attention in this matter!
and the rest is facts. If you go GA next year you can be part of the rebuild. We can be sideline gym bros and both run out when we don’t agree with calls. Think about it!!!

This same rumor has been going around for years. I swear pp said they had insight formal info last year and Arl made announcement.

FVU dads last hope is Arl to GA.
thats not going to save us from ourselves. Snatching some players Would be an upgrade but who is navigating the ship if that happens.
Can have all the talent in the world but it means nothing without a good coach.

On that note we expect Arl to do Arl things with things w the coach if things go bad again in the playoffs.

Fvu would never…

Arlington isn’t going to drop the DOC no matter what the team does. He will coach this year and next then pass them to EG for the last 2 years.

DOC is quite respectable overall regardless how the team does at the playoffs. Last year coach was different and it wasn’t because how the team performed alone.

What was wrong with last years coach? They were winning
still curious about this. What did happen?

ECNL
Arlington 4 FVU 0
Beach 1 Richmond 2

GA
VRSC 3 TSJ 0
CDA 1 CISC 4

Not too many games this weekend but a few interesting ones. VRSC should control the game and beat TSJ 3-0. Down south, CISC will be too tough for CDA and wins 4-1
In ECNL, Arlington is too much for FVU and wins 4-0. Beach battles Richmond but in the end Richmond is too much and wins a close one, 2-1.

Good luck to all!

Curious how the TSJ families feel about things moving forward. Do you hope the team moves to Aspire? If they remain in GA, will you come back?

As with many youth soccer coaches, he had no idea how to successfully engage with the population he was coaching.

How so? When you say population, what does that even mean?

So the Arlington Director of Coaching Education has no idea to engage with kids?

A corner kick and a lucky goal. It’s hardly a good game.
no luck. Some of the girls do practice SOGs in their spare time. And they worked hard to get the corner kick. You guys won. So now i say it was far from a dominating performance from Arl in the first half. Second half had its moments of
Arl momentum but lets be clear it wasn’t a lucky goal. They worked for that goal as well.

You guys are weird. It was a pretty good game. Coach could have bought all the girls down to crowd the box and play kickball the rest of the game. But thats ugly soccer. Maybe he will next time to shut down the arrogance.
Worked hard for a corner kick?? the goalie didnt touch it??

Ha. This was the same line last spring from Arlington when FVU held them to one goal… “the goalie kept you in the game” and then y’all poached the goalie.
goalie did infact keep fvu in the game that 1-0 win last season. but don't forget the game before that when Arl won 5-1 it was 1-1 at half time that same goalie got subbed out and arl ended up scoring 4 more goals. Now arl has her and she almost lost to the exact team..

Whats your point here?? the girls have bad games, I find it kinda weird that you know a 14 year old girls exact schedule and subbing... And the fvu keeper let in 4 goals? So what that was last year.?? Get a life man, both of those keepers are very talented. Fvu goalie made some crazy saves that game and the arl keeper has always been very good. leave the girls alone they are 14-15 years old.

I think what they are saying is the unrealistic expectations of the parents not the kids.

don't worry if they keep shooting straight to the keeper they are going to get no where. Their whole offence sucked that game. Instagram starts, that's all they are. you all know what kids I'm talking about.
