Armstrong Elementary in Reston

What are your thoughts on Armstrong Elementary? We just moved and that is the school my daughter will attend for kindergarten. Thanks for any input.

It is a great school, My kids go to this school.
We moved to this area 3 year ago.. kids are happy and I love the staff, school and PTA.

It is a good school. My neighbor's son just finished K and was very happy. I MIGHT have my daughter there in the fall, although we are currently househunting and might be buying somewhere else before school starts. The only reason we might be leaving this neighborhood, though, is because we cannot afford a single family here, not because of the school. We are just tired of living in a tiny little townhouse.

Yes, amazing school. We live in the neighborhood and many neighbors who could go private stay at Armstrong instead. It's much like an old-fashioned school in some ways -- it's so small, teachers and principals know every student, parents and extremely involved, with super PTA. The teachers we've experienced so far have ranged from good to truly great. Hope you have as good an experience!
