Back in the 80s and 90s many of the divorced moms of these girls were living vicariously through their daughters and the dads were totally absent for whatever reason.

That is a pretty blanket statement. My parents divorced and my dad was the most supportive person throughout that time. He was my anchor. Where are the fathers in all these stories?

Half of my friends growing up had divorced screwed up parents and if the parents weren’t divorced many were cheating on each other. They weren’t underprivileged or poor necessarily but they were just a mess. It was both moms and dads, just horribly irresponsible narcissists having kids back then. I actually know two moms who abandoned their families and multiple dad would remarry and have multiple kids. This is less common now due to the internet I assume.

Why did many of these girls continue to go back? They claim to come from underprivileged homes, parents were addicts, etc. yet they appear to be very well nourished and healthy? How is this possible with such neglect? No one was forcing the girls to continue going to Jeffrey Epstein’s mansion while also recruiting other girls. They weren’t being held captive.

Neglected and/or homeless girls don’t have braces on their white teeth, don’t have shiny healthy hair and skin. Neglected/homeless people are dirty, they smell, have head lice, bad teeth and skin and Jeffrey wouldn’t have anything to do with them. Many of the girls did report him to the authorities and the FBI did nothing.

We already know that Trump's guy Alexander Acosta buried some of the complaints and cases on Epstein. At the time Acosta was USAO for the Southern District of Florida, working closely with Trump's other friend Pam Bondi on various matters. Acosta let Epstein off with a plea deal, took federal prosecution for trafficking of dozens of underaged girls off the table, and granted sweeping immunity to Ghislane Maxwell and other "potential co-conspirators." Trump rewarded Acosta by making him his Labor Secretary.

Oh absolutely agree but the ignoring/covering up began way before that and many levels lower.
