who does this serve? what societal good comes from this?
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/jun/27/ice-detains-woman-iran-new-orleans A 64-year-old Iranian woman, who has lived in the US for 47 years, was detained by agents Sunday morning while gardening. A witness says plainclothes officers in unmarked vehicles cuffed her. She was then taken to a Mississippi jail |
Next time, she will know to stop in the first safe country she gets to, versus being an economic immigrant who sticks US taxpayers with her kids' medical bills. |
You are a seriously sick individual |
"The family was arrested and then taken to an immigration processing center. Attorneys said that during that time, an agent lifted his shirt as he was changing and one of the children, the 6-year-old boy, saw his gun. " Proper context matters. This quote is from NBC news. |
No one has an issue with these 25 cases of people in the country illegally being rounded up and deported. The problem is the sloppiness this is being done that is causing confusion in the streets and worse, the rounding up of people who are here legally and in some cases, US citizens. Somehow, Biden and Obama were able to do this effectively and surgically to ensure the people who shouldn't be here and who are causing problems, are sent away. Why can't Trump run as effective an organization? Why is it necessary to pay bounty hunters who are not federal agents, who mask their faces and have no badge? |
There are over 1,000,000 people in the U.S. with a final removal order from ICE. They’ve had their due process.
A final removal order is not a criminal conviction. Keep in mind that when these immigrants are justifiably captured and removed they will be conveniently classified by activists as immigrants that were “never convicted of any crime.” No one here knows how many of these “innocent’ immigrants in detention have removal orders. Their capture could be 100% legal. Figures don’t lie but liars do figure. |
3You are wrong. You've already forgot your talking point, being so eager to support illegals. 4The Supreme Court has indicated that simply being present in the United States without proper documentation is generally not a crime, but rather a civil violation. Key Points: 1) Civil vs. Criminal: Immigration law generally treats unauthorized presence as a civil matter, leading to deportation or removal, which the Supreme Court has stated is not "criminal punishment". 2) Supreme Court Ruling: In the case Arizona v. United States (2012), the Supreme Court ruled that "as a general rule, it is not a crime for a removable alien to remain present in the United States". This case challenged a controversial Arizona law that required police to determine immigration status during detentions. 3) Entering vs. Being Present: While entering the U.S. without inspection is a federal crime (either a misdemeanor or felony depending on the circumstances), simply being present without documentation is not. 4) Re-entry after deportation: It is a crime for an individual who has been previously deported to enter or attempt to enter the U.S. without authorization. This can result in imprisonment. In summary: While undocumented immigrants may face serious consequences, including deportation, their status of being in the U.S. without documentation is generally considered a civil violation, not a criminal offense, a position supported by a Supreme Court ruling. Ergo, NOT a crime. It is a crime. Your point #3. |
clearly a hardened criminal ![]() people need to understand that much of the federal law enforcement apparatus has been shifted to cases like this, and away from the actual gangs and counter terrorism they were trained for, leaving our country much more exposed than before. |
Civil, not criminal. If you believe that is worthy of deportation, then I am sure you will join me in having the president deported. |
Did she have a final removal order? If you can’t answer this question with proof you should probably reconsider your position. |
And how many green card holders, people with TPS and people who are working through the system legally have been rounded up? At what point will "antifa" and journalists and professors and democrats be rounded up?
We have seen this movie before and it doesn't end well. |
You’re the yin to flat earthers’ yang. |
