Seriously. I listened to a bit of that and all I got is that he has no idea how tariffs work. Tariffs = higher prices so how is that helping with childcare problems?

So with all that stated, can you tell me why Canada just put a 100% tariff on Chinese made EVs, right AFTER the Biden Administration imposed a 100% tariff on Chinese made EVs???

None of that dispels what PP said, that Trump doesn’t understand what tariffs are and how they work. He plans them for every single import which is going to raise prices for every American consumer.

No it doesn't. Trump still thinks the tariffs magically get paid without an effect on US consumers. It raises prices of goods for US consumers. If Trump wants to go around and say he's imposing tariffs for political purposes (which is why Canada did it for Chinese made EVs), well, that's a different ball of wax, whether I agree with it or not.
