Does Clomid improve egg quality... or just quantity?

Wondering if Clomid contributes to egg quality... can it improve quality? I always thought Clomid made ovulation a more sure thing for women who don't regularly ovulate, and then created more eggs, but not necessarily better eggs. Is there any bottom line on this?

Just quantity. My RE told me that our bodies naturally select the best egg each month, so that would lead me to believe that clomid gives us more eggs of lesser quality.

PP, I thought the same thing but my RE says it's not true.

OP-My RE told me that Clomid helps you produce more eggs, but not necessarily better. You just sort of hope that by producing a lot of eggs at least one of them will be healthy.
