Obama's demeanor is something to emulate

I have noticed everytime Obama is interviewed about Bin Laden he takes a somber tone. He doesn't gloat or act like a bully. I wish everyone would take the same tone. I think when people gloat and celebrate it just angers extremists more.

I think he has the perfect temperament and demeanor in every situation. Did you see him at the Press Dinner? He was extremely funny.

OP here again-He was funny at the press dinner. I only saw parts. Yeah he really does know how to handle himself well. I actually don't agree with absolutely everything he does policywise (e.g. parts of the health care reform bill) but I call it like I see it and I was impressed with how he handled himself in interviews and I think it projects the right image for the US. I'm also the poster who gave kudos for not showing the photos.

a President with a speechwriter. Definitely a first.

I think the point is that he could do something lighthearted even as he was in the midst of taking down Bin Laden. that takes a lot of composure.

I was reading an article about the new book about his mom and someone was referring to his "Asian" manners (a good thing) that he picked up being raised in Indonesia. I agree that he has a wonderful demeanor.
