Who knows with the 11s...it might be the cursed team for the club or may benefit from the age group reshuffle and GA-disenchantment by some talented players out in Loudoun.

According to many, most of the 2011 FVU team will be leaving if a coaching change is not made.

Shocker
.

The only shocker is ARL dads out of town this week so also no trolling this week. Every time they are away the trolling disappears and this thread is enjoyable for the week. Notice the difference when the ARL trolls go away. Nice , isn’t it? Let’s keep it that way. No responses to the trolling to come…

🧐… well said.

unfortunately for us we wont find out about the coaching slate until its announced next year. Shocker right?! Check the other boards and you will see the vibes aren’t much better with parents and the older age teams. It almost looks like the parents whose players were highlighted got the inside scooping to run to vda/bsc before the rest of the teams woke up. Coaching change is too late for the 2011s. Can scream NOT to keep that particular coach but the question should be who is the answer?!

There is not a perfect coach who is just dying to go to FVU. You know who the coaches are at FVU. It will be one of them.
Stop hoping for a coach to come to you. Email every 2011 GA coach and interview them. If your daughter is good enough you get to choose who she plays for.

In terms of 2011 GA coaches, I’ve seen plenty of pros/cons on SYC, NVA and VRSC coaches. Nothing on McLean or Alexandria. Are those coaches decent?

wont be around for the door to hit them. Carry on

What pros/cons have you seen from those you mention?

RQ - coached at Valor 2 years ago and was successful in RL. Went to SYC last year and most of the Valor team followed. Had a strong first year in GA. This year picked up 7 new girls. Currently in 5th place but feels like they have taken a step back. Always positive when players follow you. Concerning that they picked up so many new players and haven’t done better. Either poor talent evaluation or poor tactic implementation.

RP - Has a reputation for being tough on players. Seems to know the game but temperament doesn’t always allow for best learning environment. Currently in 6th. Has 3 or 4 players left from NVA ECNL team which seem to carry the team.

MJ - practices seem to have a lot of standing around and minimal learning. Team ended last season on a high note ranked about 175 nationally but currently ranked 300. Team picked up a few previous ECNL players this year so surprised they have steadily declined.

Shoutout to the VA/ MA players representing !!!

Before it turns toxic shoutout to our local players from RU, Arl and VDA. Well deserved as they are solid players respected amongst their peers (at least my DD rocks w em).

Show out for the MA!! Hopefully you this trend continues and we(MA) claw more spots away from CA. 💪🏼

Sincerely -the forgotten ecnl club

You missed the thread that was started about this where folks are already dumping on ECNL v. GA and then of all things Boys v. Girls soccer.

Happy for them. Know some of the players and it's well deserved!
