| OP above, I moved from fixer upper as got relocated work. My new house was 80 percent mint by prior owners just a few minor things. That I had done before family moved in. I wish I kept old house as being small 1,600 square feet easy to fix. No central air or gas heat. My new house is mint, but 6,000 square feet, two gas burners, two hvacs and Viking appliances you really can fix much your self |
| This is a ridiculous overgeneralization. We bought a renovated 120+ year old house. After purchase, we spent $10k on some changes and repairs and were good to go. We love our historic house! |
