Tall women- do you like being tall?

Anonymous
I am 5'10". I've both loved and hated being tall lol. I think I'd rather be a few inches shorter, but my husband is 6' and I happen to despise most heels in general. My DH wouldn't care if I were taller than him either. My previous relationships before DH were all shorter than me as well. Neither of us cared.

I also can carry more weight and not look frumpy with my height.

I am a male 5’7” and because my hands and feet are smaller i’m creepy, my present girlfriend is 6’1” has larger hands bigger feet
and wears very hi heels to be taller than her
creepy boyfriend.

all this discussion of height recently seems really weird

I don’t like being tall especial in the eres that I live in. Lower TX right by mexico many of the guys are shorter than me (I’m 5’7). And it makes me feel a bit insecure bcs i feel like that “monster on a hill” I’m in my mid teens and ik that I still probably got a few inches to grow and I wish I didn’t. Many of the guys I’m interested in or are interested in me are shorter or same height. Ik it’s probably a me problem (bcs im really not that tall) and I should just get over it but sometimes I wish I was 5’6 or 5’4. I think tall guys and short guys both prefer tiny girls they are more cute and homely I think…

Absolutely! 5’9” here …if you consider that tall.

I am 6 foot. I always liked being tall, but I'm starting to be self conscious about it. A lot of people on-line talk about how tall women look like men or are trans.

Date the short guys! I dated a guy 5 inches shorter than me and it was great! He was funny and sweet and terrific in bed!

Not. Fixed that for you.
Don’t be self conscious. I am sure you are fabulous. Some people really ARE jealous. Don’t let others define you.

I'm 5'8
It's a love and hate relationship. I love being tall because I appear much slimmer and I'm less likely to be kidnapped and I love the way clothes look on me.
But I also feel kinda left out because most of my friends are short so I feel like I don't kinda belong and I just look awkward standing in by them.

Same! I’m 5’9 and always had and still do have shorter girlfriends. I’m slim at a size 4/6 but always feel huge in pictures next to them or walking down the street. I love walking alongside my 6’4 husband when we go out but feel more self conscious when with my girlfriends. They can also wear those cute short jumpers and no way could I pull those off. My torso is so long they look like a bodysuit on me.

I'm 5'7". Would like to be a bit taller. I modeled in the early 90s and was always an inch or so too short to move beyond catalog/car show. My legs are super long, so I guess that is good.

I am very respectful to tall women and being a male 5’7” and constantly being in relationships
with women who flat out tower over me either biologically or shoe choice and in most cases both and my present girlfriend actually at times
will bend down so she can face me when we talk otherwise my head comes to her shoulders and then when she decides to wear heels it takes our difference to an all different level.
She’s a fantastic woman and has no problem or do I with her fantastic gift, HEIGHT.

Considered a good looking man, however my
whole life i’ve struggled being height challenged at 5’4” and presently being cared for by a wonderful woman who is 6’1”.

Same (I mean, I’m 5’7” with long legs - I never modeled). My whole life people have commented on how lucky I am to be “so tall” but I don’t think of myself as particularly tall. Taller than average, sure. But I don’t stand out. I’d prefer to be an inch or two taller as I think it looks elegant.
