Item 2 only lasts the period of the CR. They can still RIF whoever they want after that unless there’s a longer moratorium put in place.

I don’t think democrats should accept an agreement to repay federal workers or pay SNAP. The democrats should at the very least force the republicans to say that THIS IS ALREADY THE LAW, not some new concession.

DP - I, too, will be going on use-or-lose leave all of the rest of this calendar year except for maybe 5-7 days.
