I haven't seen it pop up on this thread yet and their website says their deadline for ED/EA isn't until 11/15 so I imagine they're still working on things.

The waiting can be soooo hard! Hang in there and let us know when you hear.

C'mon down to RVA!

Intended major? VCU really has some wonderful programs. As a local, we know quite a few kids there and they love it. The City certainly has its own vibe.

Congrats and Go Rams!

My kid is interested in Neuroscience (Computational). I LOVE Richmond and the vibe of the city.

Wow! That's some brainy stuff!

VCU sounds like an amazing choice for your DC.

When did they apply to Chicago, when did they hear back, and with aid?

ED0, we don't need aid.

You asked.

One way to respond is: no aid

Not really. Then it could be they didn’t receive any, though it was needed. It doesn’t sound braggy to me.

I think the tactful expression is "We're full pay."

Auburn has an EA1 deadline of Sept 15 and decisions came out October 17. Not rolling.

Mizzou, waiting on merit but they should qualify for the top out of state automatic package.

They were FAST. Around 1 week turnaround.

My junior (obviously not applying this year) loved Drexel. It has so much going for it, although I’m curious how their transition to the semester system will impact their co-op program.

Good luck!

Mizzou had an 8 day turnaround for my kid.

I think they are rolling admissions.

The merit letter came just a few days after acceptance. Top contender for my kid right now. School of Journalism is amazing. Tons of practical experience. The indoor lazy river is a plus for my kid.

Congrats.

Mizziu's school of journalism has been top notch for a very long time.

Congrats! We tried (and failed) to get our son to apply there. Great school.

Lovely! That's a good friend's hometown....not that she could convince her child to attend (she didn't either!). Guess we all like to fly-away a bit.

Hope they're ready for some massive snowfalls and a good education! I think it hits that rare note of being a well-regarded, mid-sized school (15-20K, undergrad) that I think a lot of kids would like. For in-state NYers....a super value.

Congrats!

If they want to be an engineer, why?
