Agree. Just the academics would not deliver that result. |
| Maret will allow any kid into the school if they can play football. Doesn’t matter what year and when. The coach seems to have a lot sway with admissions. |
Yes, and they are easy to place into college too---for football and frankly many are URM and/or FGLI as well. |
| The hos was fired. I think the school will improve tremendously. |
| People will bad mouth any school that they can't get their "precious child" into. As a parent of 2 Maret grads, can't say anything but positive about what the children got out of being there. As for other parents, and certain community members, there are weirdos and clueless people, but after all, money doesn't make you better, it will likely give you more access to things ordinary people can't. |
My daughter goes to NCS and she says that she's had many classmates transfer from Maret to NCS who say that they were completely unprepared for the workload and rigor, they said Maret was fine but very easy and that they were glad they switched to NCS because they feel like the transition to college will be easier now that they have experience with a heavy workload. |
Agree. If you like them apply to a three. There’s a good chance that your choice will be made for you. |
| There are some very sad people on this board. From the comments, you can tell which should be disregarded. All of these schools are quite good and any child would be truly blessed to attend any of them. They are more similar than different, though of course there are cultural differences. The need for some to come here and bash schools whose mission is to help and educate children is, quite frankly, disgraceful. The times we are living in…. |
