Do you drink alcohol while ToTing with your kids?

Like others have said, nobody is getting wasted and everyone is staying sober.

Its just a little fun

I can have a little fun and not drink. Better for my liver, brain etc ..but you have fun!

We will, and we don’t need your permission.

We had an incredible turn out for ToTing in our neighborhood last night. One family kicked it off at 4:30pm by having a bonfire and pumpkin carving. There was food & drinks for the kids and.... alcoholic beverages for the adults. Got to meet lots of neighbors and bonded with many over a drink. Then everyone went around ToTing.
Didn't see any parent wasted or unable to take care of their kids. DID see lots of people having fun and meeting each other.
The square, judgmental people stayed home.

Okay. Kewl

I, too, can have fun & not drink. You guys are so weird about alcohol. So so weird

DCUM has a stick up its collective a$$ about a lot of things that most people would consider normal. The pearl clutchers just seem to congregate here.

I took a Jell-O shot that I was offered from a neighbor. Why does it matter? Halloween isn’t a holiday during which parents get wasted while ToTing.

My daughter is older now, so I drank wine on the porch last night while handing out candy. Many parents walk around with drinks in our hood - nobody's driving so no biggie.

Lots of the moms in my neighborhood used to. Carried it around in coffee mugs. I thought it was hilarious. And clever.
