Exactly. Cardi B is an uneducated, former stripper who makes a living selling herself, and while she has made millions doing so, the former addict/stripper is not high on the list of female role models. But I bet your girls want to look just like her bc those are the images of females that the see. That’s the point. The types of influencer role models that young women aspire to are troubling. |
That son is a bad apple. Seems to run in the family. |
I noticed you didn’t respond to my question. Where are the boys and men revealing full thigh, bare arms and shoulders, and upper pecs? |
All it says to me is the girls have the confidence to rock their dresses. The boys are hiding out in their clothes that they don't even fill out yet. Good for the girls! |
I feel sorry for your DD. So basically you’re teaching her to judge someone based on appearance. Great parenting job there! |
Key and Peele nailed it. https://youtu.be/yvCNNDY49cE?si=6osqXfMO_hy5XIal |
I was actually going to say, this sounds like the plot of a 90s teen movie where the jock asks out the nerdy loser on a dare. |
Lol, ok, keep telling yourself only trailer trash dresses like this. You go out Thursday night at any college, including elite ones, and yes the girls generally dress like this It’s just that this generation seems to be doing it earlier and earlier. Haven’t you seen all those Instagram memes comparing our generation in 7th grade doing the Macarena with 7th graders doing tik tok dances? |
Blah…blah…blah….my smart confident athletic virgin good girl daughter has a very short tight blue dress that she LOVES and feels amazing in….and that is all that matters |
My DD (in MCPS) said it was about 50/50. Her group of friends all wore sneakers or Doc Martens. |
In their wrestling unis, Pearl. |
Same as 22:11. Smart, athletic Junior is going to rock her Hoco dress ( short and sparkly ) and I applaud her. She is not promiscuous, she’s a bit naive and a lot conservative. There’s a lot worse out there than a dress!

It’s not the length or the tightness that’s the problem. It’s the cheap material and cheap looking sparkles from stores that sell $60 dresses that look like trailer trash as you call it. You can’t help but look trashy in those dresses. There are hundreds of different styles that look like they belong on the educated teen you are talking about. https://www.aliceandolivia.com/CHARA-SLEEVELESS-SCOOP-NECK-MINI-DRESS/CC304P43515H330.html https://www.revolve.com/katie-may-sahara-dress-in-periwinkle/dp/KATR-WD336/?d=F¤cy=USD&countrycode=US&gclid=CjwKCAjw9-6oBhBaEiwAHv1QvIE-YOaSo-7UZgV-n-oB54hM6fwPQb5qeo37_0d1aKx0znz-08VTlhoC4oQQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds https://www.neimanmarcus.com/p/alice-olivia-harmony-mini-slip-dress-prod264990305?childItemId=NMT54WJ_&msid=4637426&navpath=cat000000_featuredd_cat40360738&page=0&position=11 You can find slip dresses and short dresses that don’t make you look cheap. |
The hem makes it look homemade. The zipper is cheap. The bunching shows it’s ill fitting. That’s the main problem with these throwaway dresses. |
Why not at the club or homecoming, Pickmesha? |
