Oh, would a moron wait until the storm was over to assert retroactively that any safety precautions were dumb and useless? |
DP. Yes, that's exactly what a moron would do. |
No. Watch does not mean a tornado was spotted. Watch means you might end up with rotation in the storm clouds. warning means that rotation has been spotted or that a tornado is forming. |
Ok, well, my neighbor had her house cut in half by a tree a week ago. I’m going to continue to take precautions when 70 mph winds come through. |
Big big big dud |
DP and I used to get these mixed up too. I now think of a watch and “watch out” there could be a tornado. Warning is like an actual warning to get inside to the basement. |
I'm fine with how it turned out |
Great. Glad everyone is safe and no one died. |
I'm thrilled that people are safe, and trees didn't seem to fall on many cars homes or people. Thank goodness. |
The one with “R” means to run (warning). That’s the more serious one. |
Are you going into every single weather post to post this? Yes, we know about the house in Arlington that was cut in half last week. Give it a rest. This was nothing near that. Go find some more houses to take pictures of and submit to Arlnow. Oh wait, there aren't any. |
Do we also know about the father of two in Dumfries who died last week when a tree fell on their house? |
It’s the tiresome “nothingburger” poster. They’re posting from 1996. Pity them. |
Did is pass Alexandria and DC yet? |
God, you’re precious. |
