Private & Independent Schools
| With no real private options in Arlington, curious where you are sending your kids. |
| To the local public, of course. It's the whole reason to move to Arlington - the schools. We'd rather invest our money in our home and send our kids to a fabulous (and free!) school than spend it on private tuition. Is this a trick question? |

| OP here. Serious question trying to see if parents lean towards schools with more proximity like Potomac or Congressional, or if their kids are far flung into Upper NW, Cap Hill, or Maryland. |
| We are going to St. Pats but I know Arlington folk who run the gamit..ie Potomac, Bouvoir, St. Albans, Gonzaga, Holton etc. etc. |
| St. Patrick's and St. Albans. I love Arlington, but the public schools just weren't the best options for my kids. |
| We left North Arlington because the publics are too crowded and moved back into DC for private. |

My children will be entering Campbell Elementary in South Arlington in the fall.
We are leaving a DC private which we love and will miss, but feel like Campbell will be a better fit for our children and our family as a whole at this time. |

Far flung? It really depends on where you are in Arlington. I'm in Country Club Hills. St. Patricks is 3.5 miles from my home. Beauvoir is 5. Congressional is 6.5.
From South Arlington, it is a different story. But SSSAS is pretty darn close. |
