Does anyone know what happened to Dr. Mark Mausner in Bethesda?

I had some laser work done with Dr. Mausner last year. When I called to make a touch up appointment, I got a recording that the office is permanently closed. Website also says the same thing. I was shocked. I recommended so many of my friends to him, I hope he is ok. I am also wondering if there is any way I would be able to get my records, as I want to know the name and frequency of the laser he used. Any information?

There was an email last month that suggested he has a brain tumor. If you search on his last name, the thread will come up but it doesn't say much of anything else. It's a shame if it's true.

Sadly, he passed away on Oct. 4, 2011 at age 59. Rest In Peace, Dr. Mausner. You were truly THE BEST!!! Thank you for sharing your gifts, talents, compassion and great personality. You will be sorely missed by all who met you.

Was searching for the phone number of Dr. Mark Mausner's to make an appointment for a consultation for a surgical procedure - and just learned of his death - how sad. He was a truly remarkable surgeon and wonderful human being. Can anyone recommend an equally skilled plastic surgeon in the DC area?

OMG.... I just referred my cousin to Dr. Mausner as he performed surgery in me in 1995 and was phenomenal! She just sent me a text to tell me that she tried to do some research on him online and found out that he died of a brain tumor! I am so sad to hear this as he was an outstanding plastic surgeon....Dr M u will be missed!!!!
