Bolton requested Giuliani's contact info from Sondland on Aug 26th.

He's brought documents -- emails and WhatsApp messages -- to back up his claims.

These include emails the State Department has refused to turn over to the committee.

Bolton is coming out as the smartest in all of this - we already know he wanted no part of it, and several witnesses said he abruptly terminated a meeting when U.S. diplomats raised it. Can't stand him but he knows where the lines are drawn. He's the only diplomat saying "nope, not touching this" instead of "I was just following orders and doing the best I could."
