The best part was a week before, JD Vance was incensed and up in arms over how sacrilegious Gretchen Whitmer's poor taste video with the Dorito chip was. Given how unhinged and off-putting Trump is, Trump desperately needed someone super likeable and charming to normalize and sell his deeply flawed candidacy. Vance only dragged it down further.
