Time bet BC and TTC?

i have been on the pill for about a year (since I weaned my DS) and we would like to try for #2. i'm planning on not taking the pill again after my next period. do we need to wait a month or two or more after i stop before TTC?

OP here -- just FYI to those who have looked at this post. I got a hold of my Dr... said no worries to start trying right away but they suggest to stop pill upon menses and to wait for one cycle before trying.

so wait for 1 cycle pill free and then try?

No medically necessary reason to wait. Some docs recommend waiting so that you get an idea of what your cycle is like (especially if you have been on OCs for a long time).

Op here -- yes and yes -- you will have a better idea of your cycle if you wait thru one pill free but the hormones are out of your system when you stop taking them the week of your period so safe to start to try immediately. Ahhhhhh! So here we go!!
