6. I didn’t like how rushami looked at camera when holding baby girl at the end. It broke that wall between us.

7. Odd patriarch seems to want kiva married badly and then does trash every relationship. He insisted his son try to make things work with his new wife and then said they should divorce.

Ruchami’s husband keeps his side curls behind his ears. Just a different style.
1. Zvi Arye gave it up because of the story about the guy leaving his family. He was too religious to take that risk.
2. Totally unanswered in the show, but in real life the actor that plays Shulem kept the dog. He’s alive and well. Apparently leaving loose ends is more common in Israeli shows. Srugim leaves loose ends, too.
3. Shulem doesn’t burn the painting of the nursing woman. It’s a painting of his wife and he covers her hair. It’s quite beautiful when you think of it, but also quite cruel. The burning paintings were in a dream in season 3, no? No paintings actually burned...

Yes- I meant that I wished we saw akiva’s reaction to the ruined painting.
4. Nuchem is a scammer so often needs money. He’s shady. Shulem warned Nechama that he asked for half of what would have been donated to Shulem’s school, which threatened the relationship
Yes, but as I asked it - we never saw what happened - was this loan repaid? Obviously not...but wish we saw this unfold.


5. Lippe invested the money from the name and presents it at the end of Season 2, financing the restaurant. Their apartment was also much nicer this season.

Yes, I know but didn’t you think the lippe investment was a scam? We know it wasn’t now but it looked like it.
7. Shulem is a control freak. He wants Kive married because it’s the respectable thing but he also doesn’t want to be alone.

Lippe's investment at first did see like a scam but more so due to the settings and informality then a process or info;

We, the wiever, had no bonus of knowing the other man, he could be very well his long time trusted advisor.

To me it felt like a scam only to the point when Lippe insisted on refund and the guy said, OK.. but it is for your own good to not to.

He did not say, NO, I a can not.. don't want to etc.

He said that he CAN give money back if Lippe REALLY wants it.

Iy Was Lippe decission at the end NOT to take the money back;

One true loose end..:

Libby and Akiva sxene on yhe balcony in season two I think..
when Linny first arrived, she tells him "Mom said not to come back without set wedding date"

Since at the time aside from seiing sick grandma in the hospital. Libby and her dad's visit was to find her a match in Jerusalem.

Then we never hear a word about her mom ever! We don't see her in any of the sceenes in their Belgium home.

Then.. all of the sudden when the lottery booth guy dies, he ends up with the woman who used to be the other guy long ago ex bride.


So what happen? Libby's mom missing in action??


Loose end if you ask me.

It is really interesting that Shtisel is so popular in many countries among non relitious teens. Kind of suprizing if you ask me because most kids have short attention span, Go figure.

Shtisel is kind of Israeli NPR gem if there is such a thing as Israeli NPR. I saw some Israeli News outlet raising money selling Shtisell merchandise.

I don't have a need for those but if you know Shtisel fan and struggle with gift ideas;;

I am sure Akiva black hoodie can keep you warm.

If they will be selling Akiva's and Giti's cookbook. call me. I have never enough of looking at the food featured. all Giti dishes make me hungry

I think that painting caused a lot of pain but also closed a circle of healing.

You can paint that picture in a day or two, if you really wanted as an artist. Not irreplacable. Some relationship issues can never be fixed, paint can fix all paintings.

Loose end if you ask me.

You only see Libby in the doorway of her actual home so no need to introduce her mom, and they reference that the mom and Libby both died 8 months ago, making it likely they died in an accident together. That's why Nuchem was such a wreck. I didn't see the mom as a loose end at all.

More to it then just the painting I think, Did you see her face how intense it was through the entire interview. She was not against his art, her father was projecting.
The painting didn't do ANYTHING when Akiva show it to her at first. It did not tip the scale, More so his attitude did;

He was honest with her.
He made her to choose, he made his choice.
He said he won't give up who he was,
He went ahead with the show,
He did the interview,

Did you see her face when he said he mrt a woman who made him to paint again..
That woman was NOT Libby, it was the other artist,
Libby knew she was losing him, Hearing that on TV did not get lost on her,

If she would not accept him as an artist at this point he was done with her,

No, the painting if his mom, however beautiful and soul touching was not in my opinion what brought them together. If anything, it was a fork on a road,
