Apples and oranges. One big difference is, people actually depend on and have to use their cars, and in most cases use them every day. That is not the case where it comes to guns. Guns only have to be taken out or used rarely. But on those rare instances when they are used, they quite frequently come with accidents and disaster. If you compared accidents per actual gun handling and use versus accidents per car use I have very little doubt that it's far higher for guns. |
