All Arlington public middle schools offer intensified/honors classes in science, English and social studies for 7th and 8th graders. Math is tracked to an even greater degree than other core subjects. Any student can take these classes but teachers will not cater to stragglers. There are no bad Arlington high schools. Completely different story than DCPS.
