Then there are the Larry Nassars the sport attracts |
Where was that? That’s not typical. |
Totally typical! |
Dp. Lots of places out west. Is that not typical for the DMV? |
I did not record the local ones (that would be creepy), but they all look like this: |
There are tons of high school dance teams and just as many varieties. That looks they put that together themselves. They weren’t trained dancers and it was really sloppy. But I didn’t see anything sexual and their outfits did nothing for them. It’s like most high school teams whether baseball or dance teams. You have some good and some horrible. It’s at the college level where you see the awesome talent. |

The college dance teams do not dress provocative nor do they dance provocatively. They do amazing work and spent hours to perfect their work. |
Exactly. I think the key with dance is to find the right studio for your kid. I know for us it literally took years and a lot of trial and error. My kids will never be professional dancers and have no interest in that but still love ballet. We finally found a local studio that teaches what I would describe as recreational (vs. pre-professional) classes but with a focus on good technique and still offers a few performances during the year. The atmosphere is very positive and low-key. This is hard to find though. |
