Asian American casting is pretty terrible. Maybe not enough people try out. We aren’t exactly raised to become actors and actresses.

As an average looking black woman, I find what you deem terrible as fantastic. I love to see women who look like me being cast in romantic roles with all kinds of men.

And to some extent, life imitates art. See it long enough and very soon, you pretty women will face tougher competition from us 😀.

Do you mean how Miranda married hot Tuck? the anesthesiologist turned firefighter on Grey’s Anatomy?

They seem like they would be a mismatched couple in real life.

Not just Miranda. Most of the men were conventionally better looking than the women. The only clearly above average woman I remember was Katherine Heigl. I have not watched in a while, but I am talking of the cast from around 2010. I find the character who played Meredith Grey to be average too. And Sandra Oh too.

The men were hot: Mcdreamy, Mcsteamy and the black guy dating Sandra Oh's character.

Lol, you are dreaming. What’s next casting 60 year old women with 25 year old hot guys? Good looking men will date good looking women, unless those women are very rich, then looks don’t matter so much.

If I cast poor, ugly guys with pretty women, it’s not going to make you want to date a poor ugly guy any more. The only thing they will make pretty or average looking women want to date an ugly guy is MONEY. If you’re superficial enough to want to be the competition of prettier women, why do you think men will suddenly become less superficial because of Netflix casting.

But at least we’ve figured out the target audience here, plain women of color who secretly or not so secretly want to date better looking white guys. Keep dreaming.

The black doctor on Grey's Anatomy was married to a handsome black guy. Sandra Oh's character was dating a handsome black guy in the early seasons.

I think what normally happens is that an average or below average thin Asian woman with a good education and nice hair can land a man of different race. I don’t necessarily think the men are all hot but they are usually smart and successful.

Asians value education above all.

Haven’t you already seen where this leads, to? No, those babies are only cute until puberty. And then their parents’ unattractive features rear their ugly heads. It’s actually worse than Priscilla Chan and Mark Zuckerberg individually because at least Priscilla and Mark are a specific type. Their kids are a weird combination of both parents ugly. It’s bad, really bad.
