Why would a door-knocker be told this information. Genuinely curious? I've never worked on a campaign but I always thought of door knockers to be pretty far removed from the thick of it. People who are passionate and willing to commit their time to make a difference, and, who have the free time to give (usually students, retirees, and the under-employed). Agree. Sidwell can be closer off if needed especially when presidents visit the campus. It is a logistical nightmare for all on the Close and not quite safe. It can happen but really disruptive.
