Other names I like are Brennan, Beckett, Crawford, and Paxton.

I know 3 Coltons. None of them live in the DC area. I like the name Jack, thought I would name my son that. Thank God I did not. Every other boy I meet is named Jack. Love the name Arden for a girl, if I have another and it is a girl, I may use that name.

I love the name Brady and the name Asher. Not sure if I would use them but I love them. Also love Madeliene and Mary Claire.

Is Jameson going to be the next Jacob/Aiden/Michael (ie, top name)? It's on our list and I've seen it several times here. Also, how do you feel about the nickname Jamie? I love it (jamie Oliver, Jamie Foxx) but my husband knows a female Jamie and can't stand her.

I have also heard Teagan and Keegan on quite a few boys. I love Irish boy names.

My DD's name is Riley (of course, I thought it was somewhat unusual at the time). My DH is Irish and most of the grandkids have Irish names - we have a Keegan in the family.

We are expecting:
Boy: Payton (form of DH's name - Patrick) and Bradon (DH doesn't like)
Girl: Payton or Haley

May keep looking, but we seem to both really like these names.

I am old so I have no idea what DD or DH means (go ahead laugh) but anyway I like Payton for a boy and Haley for a girl. Good Luck!

LOVE Payton for a boy!!

I have a Brady and a Payton!

and Reilley (Lee for short) Joseph for a boy

How are you pronouncing Callay? This spelling looks like the stress would be on the second part (cal-LAY) rather than the first syllable, as in Callie.

Reilley is also an awkward spelling... Reilly or Riley would be more traditional.

We're french and German so I want to make sure my child is named after a medieval profession practiced in Scotland, like chandler or hunter.

I also like rhyming names for all my children -- like Keagan, Teagan and Breagan.

I like names that also sound like dogs' names like Wilson and Lane. I'm hoping to name our oldest after a street in our neighborhood. Don't you just love Willoughby Lane?

You're funny. I like you.

I am usually against boys names for girls, but I really do like Quinn for a girl. It reminds me of my fav show Daria. Quinn was her sisters name.

For boys I like Barrette (after the great Syd Barrette). Gilmour (yes I am a floyd fan). For girls I like Zarah pronounced like sarah but with a Z and Zannarah.

Not that you asked my opinion, but Barrette seems really feminine because it's the name of a girl's hair ornament. Syd, though, is ultra-masculine to me.

I'd say Zarah so the first syllable rhymed with car, not care.

Cyd Charise?

Syd's actual last name was Barrett, not Barrette.

I would not want to name a child after poor crazy Syd Barrett, bless his heart.

Lisa Marie Presley just named one of her twin daughers Harper.
