The Hanker for a Hunk of Cheese Guy.

Plus all the sugary cereal commercials.

I think most of the above were on the TV mainly on Saturday mornings.

Mon Chi Chi! Mon Chi Chi! Oh so soft and cuddly! With his thumb in his mouth he’s really neat! Fun to (something??) his little feet! Happy smiley Mon Chi Chi!

I am constantly singing or quoting old commercial jingles. It’s disturbing how many I remember.

I also remember---throwing it way way back to the mid 70's when I was a tiny tot--the Doritos commercial with the guy with the dark curly hair who reminded me of the guy from Welcome Back Kotter. I just watched a compilation of 70s commercials and there was one for carnation powdered milk promising it would really bring down your monthly milk bill, and another for unsweetened KoolAid to which you could add your own sugar as a very economical way to feed your children (with Vitamin C)! Man, we forget how poor everyone was in the 70s. That frozen concentrate OJ was like a major splurge. Now my kids are like “what? It’s not fresh squeezed?”
