I actually disagree. if you only weigh weekly you may weigh on a day where the scale has fluctuated up a pound or even 2. This often causes people to get discourage and think what they are doing isn't working. If you weigh daily, over time, you get use to these fluctuations and see them as no big deal. Tracking the overall trend over time is a much better way to determine if that you are doing is working. |
Yes weigh daily, same time every morning ( before anything eaten after bathroom) gives you the best picture. I also do it completely naked, since my scale is in between toilet and the shower. Daily reading give me the better picture where I am. And I don't really stress about individual numbers, I look where the smoothing trend in the app is going. Flat or declining - I'm good, pointing up - have to adjust something in my diet/routine. |

With our scale you have to step on, step off, then step on again. Or jut out some pressure on it with your foot before fully stepping on.
Try weighing yourself every day, same time with same amount of clothes. First thing in the morning iis pajamas works well. Do not focus on any one days weight. Just look at the trend. It is normal to have fluctuations. |
