No. He's a teacher, he's gay, and he married an ambitious guy with a talent for self promotion who he met through an app. They got some dogs. He has a mildly entertaining twitter feed. None of that indicates interesting TV to me. |
TV series can be surprisingly compelling so I would say if someone made one and it was really good and got a lot of good press I might consider it. But nothing really beyond that. The same answer I would give for, "would you watch a miniseries based on the life of your 3rd grade teacher". It doesn't have much initial interest for me but that doesn't mean it might not be good. |
Would totally just depend on how it was done.
I mean, most TV shows are about people who lead pretty boring lives. Most of them are not like the Bourne Identity. I think 90% of the shows I watch are about people that are pretty ordinary people but maybe a little wittier or funnier than average (and definitely better looking than average), leading pretty ordinary lives but generally wearing nicer clothes and often with nicer decorated houses. So a well-written cross between My So-Called Life, Mr. Mayor and West Wing, with some cute dogs thrown in -- definitely would watch! |
What happened to Mr. Mayor; i did enjoy a few episodes. |
