Finding a writing tutor

We absolutely ADORE our son's tutor! I was in the same boat as you, OP. Leaving elementary I wasn't pleased with my son's writing. I got our son's tutor from a friend. My son works twice weekly with our tutor. One focused only on writing and the other to help with his school assignments.

He's an MCPS teacher so knows the curriculum. I'm beyond thrilled with my son's progress and equally importantly, my son actually looks forward to the sessions. Which I never would have believed possible.
