Talk to me about majoring in "game design" and the career that follows

DO NOT do game design. It’s a sweatshop. Like working for a sports team or record label. Cool job so EVERYONE wants to do it and the employers take advantage of the r labor force.

There are a lot of Reddit threads about this career, I'd have him read those. They are very eye opening. Lots of unhappy people.

It's one of those "passion careers" that don't usually pan out for most people.
