People didn’t knowingly cut the line. Someone within Innova shared the link, which then, got shared to principals who sent it out. By the time the link was shut down and Innova gave full guidance, people had started signing up. When you signed up for it, there was a spot for “other essential workers.” They honored the appointments made because there are literally hundreds of open appointments. People aren’t going to whatever reason. I work for Innova and know they are having issues getting people to take appointments. |
Yes they did. They had to click a link that said "Inova Team Member vaccine" then they had to read a list of instructions telling them to bring their inova badge to the appt, and also click a drop down menu stating their role within Inova. They knew and so did you. Obviously you feel guilt or you wouldn't be arguing so hard to justify your actions. That's telling. |
So you missed the part that said I work for Innova right? There were multiple linked because we are vaccinating multiple groups—not just 1a hospital workers. Someone prematurely shared a link before we prepped for teachers. There was a drop down for other essential workers outside of Innova and healthcare. But sure, please tell me what happened. |
The current links are different than what was sent out. Now, they reflect that we are only doing 1a Innova workers and staff. |
Even the other link did NOT have a drop down for teachers. And I called the hotline to confirm. |
It had a drop down for other essential workers. |
It was clear it was not for teachers. As confirmed by the phone call I and others made to the number provided, as well as the subsequent emails from FCPS. |
You work for “Innova” and you don’t know how to spell it?! |
Not PP, but this link was also shared around Next Door and on DCUM before that thread was taken down. There was absolutely a link for essential workers, and a great deal of people telling teachers to use it. Didn’t Brabrand send an email hours later saying that the link was sent out prematurely? Plus, frankly, I don’t get why people are up in arms. I looked this morning and there are a lot of slots. The vaccine has a limited shelf life, so if someone doesn’t take it it just goes bad. That’s it. It goes to no one. |
I don’t get the fuss here. Do you want teachers vaccinated or not? There have been multiple threads on DCUM screaming at teachers to sign up by whatever means necessary, and now, people are pissed. There are enough vaccines for 1a and 1b. That’s not the problem. The problem is that we can’t get them into people’s arms. |

This is false. All you do is come on here and lie lie lie. There are not enough vaccines and teachers were NOT supposed to use the link. You know it and they know it. You just keep jumping threads as Jeff deletes all of your posts. |
Stop lying! "The state" (whatever the hell that means) didn't approve anything. The Inova link was NOT meant to be shared with teachers. Anyone who used the link to make an appointment had to click multiple times that they were an Inova Team Member. They knew. |
