Move out of DC with 3 kids to Southern CT area?

| You might be able to find some less expensive housing (and still good schools) a bit further north, but still in Fairfield County. Redding, Ridgefield, and Wilton are nice and a short drive down Rt. 7 to the coast towns. |

| Would it really be better than DC? Commuting would be another cost. I do agree CT is very pretty though. |

| I think Greenwich would be more expensive than DC but schools are better than DC as others have already said. |
