Do you like the name Neve?

I have a Maytal - lovely name!

No, I strongly dislike it.
Miriam is awful.
Maytal is also bad.
Yael is ... not good, but okay.
Sophie is the best of the options you gave.

I suggest Shira, Avital, or Navital (Tali), Leah, Aliza, Moriah, or Dahlia.

Posting on here about names is never good OP. You get people like this that tell you your names are horrible then suggest even more horrible names

I like Neve but don't love it. I think Yael is my favorite from your list, followed by Miriam.

I absolutely love Maytal. How else have you seen it spelled?

I think there was a thread awhile back maybe not specifically about Maytal. I remember thinking it was really pretty and asking the origin and meaning.

Also thinking about Maytal, Yael, Miriam, or Sophie. We are obviously Jewish And just like the name Sophie.

Not Neve or Sophie.

Love Maytal, Yael and Miriam.

Adding Aviya, Ori, Nili, Ma’yan, Daria, Netta.

I like Neve.

Sophie is overused.

Maytal- I'm not sure how it's pronounced.

Miriam is fine, but boring.

Yael I love.

I love Aviva and I wanted to use it but DH vetoed it.

We have a Neve but pronounce it like Niamh. I've known a few like that. We love the name, couldn't do Niamh to a kid not living in Ireland. I also like Neve, pronounced Neh-v. I like Maytal a lot as well.

Here's a question about names that I never really understood. Is it that annoying if someone says it wrong? All you have to do is say "it's pronounced Nehv" and move on with your day. Coming from someone who has an extremely simple to pronounce name (Alexandra) and people CONSTANTLY say Alexandria. It's slightly annoying but I wouldn't not pick the name over that.

What happens after the 3rd or 5th or 10th time you have to correct a person? It gets awkward.

Use Sophie or Miriam or both! They sound cute together.

The others will tire of telling people how to spell or pronounce their names and yes I know a Neve and Yael

I have a rare name. I would out myself immediately if I listed it. People mispronounce it all the time. Forget spelling it correctly. I honestly do not care nor ever have. Does not bother me a bit.
