I would love to see Florida go to Biden, too, but I honestly don't trust anything that comes out of that state. |
PP, can you find out which organization helped your kid and post the name here? https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/914916.page |
| Playing with that map, if Texas somehow goes blue, I don't think there is a path for Trump at all. |
Of course not. If Texas goes blue the GOP will never be able to win another presidential election. |

Since June 5, the widest the TX polling has been is 2 points. At times Biden was leading. |
I’ll ask. I’m not sure he will know the exact name though. They worked with the college to have a public information and assistance campaign during back to school with the nominal goal of ensuring all of the college students made it through the hurdles to vote. But, at Oberlin those votes will go 95% Biden. Oberlin is 90+% not Ohio, and draws most kids from Boston, Chicago, CA, the DMV— liberal elite enclaves. Getting those registrations switched and helping the kids vote even at a school as small as Oberlin (2000 kids on campus during COVID ) could have easily netted 1000 Biden votes. Low hanging fruit. |
+1. It would be like a Dems losing CA. Bet Rs stop touting the merits of the EC once Texas tips. |
Won’t matter. They’ll never get the popular vote again unless they totally rebrand their party. |
| Oh man, I would love to do a fantasy election league every four years. Majorly nerding out here |
Why should they? |
| GOP is going to have to figure out how to re-form itself if they lose now, because it isn't tenable to win with solely the white nationalist vote. |
Because this one's a stinker and they are going to have the taint of Trump on them for a long time to come. |
They can only win by multiple methods of cheating. Their core constituency is dying off. |
