Your reading comprehension is very low. Arlington is handling the issue very well. The parents are understanding and supportive of the manner in which the club are acting. This is a good forum for honest information exchange from a minority of participants. Then there are others, like you, that have some unknown agenda to promote and spread misinformation. ....sad. |
This was all about travel teams, genius. |
| Coach dad can’t thermometer scan in Rec? How f-Ing hard is that? |
Nonsense. Every Arlington parent I spoke to this weekend at the scrimmages thought a quarantine was the correct course of action. |
We all know your agenda. Shout down anyone who brings up a subject you do not like. Attack the poster and call them a troll when if fact you are the troll. What exactly in your post is honest information? That’s right nothing. Was that you on the Arlington thread trying to shut down the discussion by calling the OP a troll? Turns out the OP was right and you knew that...right? Parents post saying taking players’ temperatures before practice or games are a waste of time. Obviously some are not doing it. Now Arlington has cases and at least two teams are quarantine for two weeks. Seems like the system is not working and some parents are not supporting the club’s policy. Cases will happen. It’s a pandemic. Players(all kids) want to play and parents wants their DCs to play. Bet many parents forget to check their DC before every practice. The club should not put the responsibility for taking temperatures before practices or games on the players or parents. The club needs to take that responsibility to ensure all players are checked for fever before attending a club practice or game. It’s very easy to do, it’s safe and it may prevent a team from being quarantined. |
ummmm or coach mom? and NO they can't. It is not easy to be a rec coach under normal circumstances and a pandemic... i want to quit coaching rec, but i know my kid wants to play and it is clear no one else has interest in coaching. So i will do it... but the list or rules and requirements on us is extensive... so please don't add one more. Maybe a parent would like to volunteer to take each kdis temperature? that woudl be appreciated. |
| Are the leagues going to provide each volunteer coach with a touch less thermometer? Some leagues have 50-100 or more teams. Rec coaches are already being asked to record covid forms and report practice and game attendance, keep kids apart, police parent masking, sanitize equipment, wash pinnies after each use etc etc etc. |
The forum is “soccer”, genius. |
