This is the right answer. I work in communications/external affairs at an association and DH works as an engineer. Our HHI is 450K. If either of us received a promotion, we would surpass 500k.


Exactly. At this high of a COLA, it's not hard to get paid that much once you get mid-career.

Our director of HR makes 250. M-F, she works 8-4, has been remote since pre-covid.

In DC I imagine it’s not as rare as elsewhere in the US or LCOL areas.
