Do you think 80s home decor will ever come back in style?

Anyone remember when these glass cubes where all over Dulles?

I would not be mad if it came back. I especially love that last one with a star trek/ wealthy 80s movie trope. This is a turn in my typical minimal taste.

I can hear the heels clicking on this dining room floor and feel the plush of the carpet

Spritz some Giorgio perfume, add shoulder pads, pull your hair into a side ponytail, carry a glass of Crystal Light, have Jane Fonda workout video on in the background and you'll be transported to 1986.

PP above and thall glass cubes photo is like an all-80s Search and Find!

Let me count tmy h 80s elements:

Glass cubes
brass railing
brass vent
brass light fixture
glass and brass edged table
Live fern potted plant
Sunken room
Sky lights
mauve carpet
open steps
white oversized furniture
Mirrored clad walls
White large tile or linoleum
black and gold AKA "rich" or Dynasty color scheme

What is that black and gold thing atop the glass table? Tv and vcr? Random bauble or art piece?

Those padded chairs in your 4th picture are already in style. Pastels are not in style.

I served sherbet punch at a party yesterday. Slightly updated with sparkling water instead of soda and actual juice. People were SO excited.
