| Sounds too much like Larla. |
|
Starla
Stara Darla Dara |
| It sounds like a name you'd hear in the deep south or in Appalachia. Or in Frederick or Calvert Counties. |
|
Imagine Starla throughout her life....
Little 4 year old Starla in her pre-school class might be cute. 19 year old Starla will have people wondering if that's her real name or her "stage name" I'd have a hard time taking Dr. Starla Jones seriously |
| Dislike it intensely. It is up there with Larla and other awful names. |
Larla is not a real name, and was not even seriously considered. Someone posted it trying to be funny and now it’s been the DCUM full in name for everyone. |
| You are trying way, way too hard. Please don't do this to your child. |
| I rather like it, although I admit the first thing I thought of was the character in Arrested Development. That's not likely to be something she'd have to worry about with her peers, though. |
I literally never remember how to include a picture so sorry I'll probs do this wrong. But I literally giggled as I read this, and was simultaneously scrolling looking @ dog rescues... And Starla is the collie featured on this page today haha

It is worse than Larla. We can now retire larla and substitute Starla. Finally, pregnant women should not drink. |
| I like it a lot |
| I think of the 2006 horror movie “Slither.” Elizabeth Banks plays a character named Starla. It’s a good movie, so I like the name. |
| I think it sounds like a stripper name. |
| Good god, no. NO! |
