How does on figure out school pyramids?

It is up to date now. I’m guess it may have also taken them a while to reflect the changes to the Jackson MS/Thoreau MS boundaries in FCPS, although this now also appears to be up to date.

I've also seen sometimes in Arlington that they'll show a house zoned to Arlington Traditional which is a lottery school w/out a boundary.

Again, verify the data. Some realtors will code it incorrectly.

But RedFin is a great tool to search for homes based on schools and commute.

So for example if I think "Oh I'd like to look for houses in the McLean High School area, I wonder which middle school and elementary schools feed into that high school?" -- how do I got about getting this info? I've looked at boundary maps, but since I'm not familiar with the area, it's hard for me to figure this out. I also cannot find it on schooldigger dot com. It would be lovely if there was a chart somewhere that listed the feeder schools to the various high schools.

I realize that school boundaries can change every so often, but any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

The elementary schools that feed into McLean High School are somewhat interchangeable - they're for the most part all great - so it might not matter much

And almost all of the kids going to McLean come from Longfellow Middle School if I'm not mistaken.
