I clean my phone only for smudges or if it gets sticky.

I’m one of those people that worry about everyone disinfecting everything!

I'm one of those people who cringe when I see people pull their cell phones out of deep, sweaty skin folds or clutch it with their unwashed, poopy hands.

If I see a server or chef use their cell phone on the side... I’m gone!

I occasionally wipe with a wet paper towel in the company bathroom is the screen is dirty. Otherwise, I breath on it and wipe on my pants leg.
Way way down on my list of concerns.

Literally never and I take it everywhere and I never get sick.

Stupid question alert:

For those using alcohol or cleaning wipes, is is okay to get the phone wet? I thought that was damaging?

I also disinfect with rubbing alcohol.

Do you use it in the baggie or just store it there? I think this is a very clever idea and would never have thought of it.

100% alcohol (or close to it) evaporates.

Have you found that this has helped in picking up fewer illnesses? It's a good tip for the immunocompromised.

Using it in a baggie is also good when cooking and following a recipe

We wipe it with a Clorox wipe when coming home from work/shopping etc.

22:29 poster here. I forgot to say that we started this after DH gave a stomach bug to us after having vomited outside of the home. He had taken a shower, and changed clothes before coming home, used gloves in the kitchen, used a separate toilet afterwards etc. The only things we forgot to disinfect were his glasses and his cell phone, which were both with him and out while he was vomiting.

I take it just rubbing it against my boobs doesn't count? Then never.
