| DH got to Wilson at 5:45 this morning and we were #20 in line. Got out about 9. Very slow. |
| I went to Hardy and they brought people in 10 at a time- also slow. Plenty of personnel but not a quick process. I was one of the first 30 to enter the building and it took 40 mins or so to get in and get out. |
| I thought it was run very well and efficiently. I went to Wilson at 6;15 and put my kids' names on the list and got numbers. My kids came up at 7:30. They took people in 25 at a time, and there were steps along the way (fill out forms, review forms, get the vaccine. we were out at 9:15. I think DOH did a great job with how many people there were and how smoothly it was run. |
| So are the clinics all out of vaccine now? Is the only way to get it to get there 4 hours early? |
| no- at wilson there were plenty of people in line and I am pretty sure they would have shut down the line if they were out. |

I cruised into Wilson at 8:15 AM. I had about a one hour wait. They were very organized and pleasant about the whole thing.
I have no reason to believe that they are out of vaccine. |
| Has anyone been to some of the other locations - like McKinley in northeast? Curious how long those lines are. |
| I just came back from Cooledge High school at 5th st, NW and it was very easy. I walked in with my 1 year old at 9 am and we were out at 10 am. When I left there was practically no line and it is very well run. |

Ditto on the Coolidge experience -- quick, set up so that a long line of people can actually wait inside (done in the gymnasium w/ people sitting on bleachers). BUT, there wasn't a long line and we were done in an hour.
Also, I am not DC resident, and no one asked about that even though I put MoCo address down on form. Kudos to DC gov and staff and residents -- well organized, courteous, very conscientious, easy parking, all those waiting in line very mellow and patient. |

I went to Wilson today and was very impressed (which was also the consensus of everyone in line around me). Got in line at 7:45am (clinic technically opened at 8, first vaccines actually administered at 8:15. I was number 235 and was in my car by 10am. They did not check ID but are strictly enforcing the pregnant women and children under 24 only policy. I did not see anyone who did not meet these qualifications attempting to get the vaccine.

| Just came back from McKinley. Got there at 8:30 and we were out by 9:45. Very orderly and efficient. You can wait in the gymnasium with seats. |
| OP Here: I went to Coolidge (despite the youth orchestra event potential concern). Got there at 6:15 and I was the first in line. (There was one gentleman ahead of me, but they told him they couldn't give him the shot b/c the clinic is limited to pregnant women and school-aged children). Set-up took quite some time and they did not start administering the shots until almost 9:00, despite an 8:00 a.m. start time. So, I was not out much earlier than the people who got there much later, but the wait was worth it. Everyone staffing the clinic was very nice and helpful and they seemed to be getting their process down. I'm sure it's running very smoothly by now. I would say it's probably a safe bet even later today, especially if your child can get the spray rather than the shot. |
| I went to McKinley Tech High School this morning at 8am and got done at 9 am. It was very well run and I was very impressed with their student volunteers who were very helpful. |

got to McKinley this morning at 7:45 -was about 20th in line. Was gone by 8:30. It would have moved quicker if the staff was ready to go at 8 but things did not get started until around 8:10. My son (16 months got it). Also, I am a pediatrician at Children's and they let me get it but it took some convincing because it is suppose to be for 6months -24 years and pregnant women. Although, I know they were letting some health care workers that have direct contact with patients get it as long as they showed proof of employment.
good luck! |
| so it is still only the two groups (pregnant and youth)? I am a nursing mom with a baby under six months, so in a priority group - are they vaccinating other priority groups in DC yet? |
