backless or high back booster for 6 year old switching from harness?

My 6yo thinks the HBB is more comfortable but the backless is "cooler," so take that for what you will. He uses a HBB most of the time, mainly because he is much better at getting the belt fit right with it than with the backless (which needs the guide since he's small--if your child gets a good fit without the guide it's probably not an issue). With the backless I have to check it every time and about half the time it needs to be adjusted, so that's a pain. With the HBB, the belt stays threaded through the seat.

We like the HBB. It keeps the belt properly positioned across her shoulder. You need something to position the belt until the kid is tall enough in the torso that the belt hits the right spot.
