Most overrated restaurant you've eaten at recently

Overpriced, terrible service, oh and I got blood diarrhea a hour after eating there, so I'm guessing there's something wrong with the food handling there. The place was half empty too on a Saturday night so I don't understand why the service was so bad. Has such good reviews...I don't get why.

Please add to this list!

If you got bloody diarrhea an hour after eating, it's because of something you ate well before you got to the restaurant.

Iron Gate. Pretty - but terrible service and so so food. I would return - but only for the bar area which looked nice.

OP here. Let me be more specific. The meal was about 2.5 hours long because the service was so slow. I got home about 1.5 hours later (stopped at gas station and target to pick up tums) and ran to the bathroom and it was regular diarrhea, followed by more regular diarrhea, followed by blood diarrhea. So it wasn't exactly one hour later...maybe a few hours later the blood diarrhea started coming.

To be honest, I'd say The Inn at Little Washington. It's perfectly fine (if you ignore the price), but the hype doesn't match reality, imo.

BTDT, don't need to go back.

Zaytinya, hands down.

Bland (except for overly salty falafel), non-authentic and really just underwhelming. Mediocre ambiance and service.

Founding Farmers. Mediocre food, marginal service, pretty boring menu (and I like boring sometimes!). Just so blah.

I'd add Bobby Vans on 15th to this.

Clydes of G'town has let me down the last couple of times I eat there. Something has slipped.

Le Diplomate was just OK food, not a fair price for the service or quality.

DH and one of my friends love Zaytinya and I really don’t get it at all.
