My son got 1340 on PSAT and is waitlisted for AOS

Another case - PSAT score of 1480 and denied admission to both AOS and AET

I heard even who got less than 1100 got into AOS

I heard kids who got less than 1220 got into AOS not above that till now.

Kids who scored high scores did not get into AOS.

I don't know any student who got less than 1200 and was accepted this year. I know of 6 kids under 1200 who were all rejected (not even on waitlist).

I think there will be quite a bit of scrutiny on the personal statement as it was submitted outside of a classroom and AOS admissions is well aware of how parents try to write these for their children.

Yes, today (04/08) the next batch of Admission Acceptances were sent and many have been granted admissions to one or either. They have this Friday (04/12) to opt in to their choice.

DD got into both AOS and AET- IT. Deciding which to take ? Any input on which is better for a student who is interested in physics, mathematics, robotics and computer science is appreciated.

My son is off aos waitlist today but he already accepted TJ offer.

I would choose aet it. My son goes to AOS and to enjoy it you have to live and breathe science. Judging by her interests, I would say aet is a better pick. Whatever you choose, success will be hers

Based on previous years, does anyone know how long the wait list for AET/AOS last through? Does it goes to the summer time?

In previous years, People have been taken of the waitlist after the school started. Depends on when Someone declines a spot.

My son was admitted off of the waitlist this week. We got an email although it was also in the admission portal. The process will slow, but the waitlist will remain active through the summer.
